Founded in 1988, Canadian company Soter is an industry leader at home and abroad. Since its inception, Soter has constantly pioneered significant innovations in the road maintenance industry by developing highly sophisticated methods and equipment.

Soter is a proactive company focusing on research and development in order to offer its clients a variety of techniques that increase the bearing capacity of roadways without excavation by recycling 100% of the materials of existing roads – at approximately 70% of the cost – while providing residents unrestricted access to their homes.

On the local scene, Soter serves as both a general and specialty contractor for road construction and rehabilitation projects. Over the past few years, Soter has foam stabilized more than 3 million square metres of roads, boulevards and highways. The quality and efficiency of its products and services have allowed Soter to position itself favorably in the local marketplace.

Soter is also present on the international scene. Its foamed bitumen systems are available in many countries including the United States, Germany, England, Australia, Japan, Mexico as well as some African nations. The excellent performance of foamed bitumen in the foamstab and foamix processes in numerous international projects attests to the quality of Soter’s rehabilitation and construction works.
