Client Location Intelligence
Builds an evidence-backed register of a commercial client's operating locations and reconciles it against the brokerage's records: the client's identity is confirmed first so similarly named businesses are never pulled in, every location is classified — match, new, closed, relocation, discrepancy, or insufficient evidence — and everything needing judgement lands in a source-cited exceptions list.
What goes in
The client or insured name, plus whatever is known: official website, headquarters address, legal entities, DBAs, subsidiaries and brands, the geographic scope to cover, and the rules for which location types count. Brokerage records establish the baseline — policies, Statements of Values, ACORD applications, location schedules, AMS exports, or a prior-year location analysis. Any research already gathered by hand, such as saved website pages, registry extracts, or directory listings, is used as evidence too.
What you get
A Client Location Intelligence report as a native Word document: an executive summary counting records, discoveries, matches, and open items; a master location register with one row per location carrying its address, type, operating status, relationship to the insured, policy status, classification, confidence, and sources; an exceptions list with the reason and evidence for every location needing broker or client follow-up; a source register of every source used with its URL and research date; and a basis-and-limitations section stating what the evidence does and does not prove.
How it works
- 1Confirm the client: legal names, DBAs, subsidiaries, brands, domains and headquarters are established before any research begins, so unrelated look-alike businesses are excluded from the outset.
- 2Establish the baseline: the uploaded brokerage records are read for every location already on file, and disagreements between documents are carried forward rather than silently resolved.
- 3Research the locations: named passes — by legal name, by brand, by geography, by location type — sweep the client's site, mapping listings, business records, press and directories, each candidate source-dated.
- 4Reconcile in code: addresses are normalized and researched locations joined to the baseline programmatically, so each lands in exactly one class and every summary count is computed, not estimated.
- 5Separate what needs a human: every location that is not a clean match goes to an exceptions list with its reason, evidence and the question for the client — assembled with the register into one Word report.
