Summary of Insurance
Converts uploaded policy documents into a Summary of Insurance readers can use instead of the policy: one section per policy in canonical coverage-line order — limits, deductibles, scheduled items, key endorsements, notable exclusions. Declarations are reconciled against amending endorsements, every value is source-cited, and coverage is never inferred.
What goes in
The policy documents for one policy or a whole program — declarations pages, coverage forms, endorsements, and the schedules of locations, vehicles, property values, classifications or underlying insurance. A single declarations page is enough to run on; whatever is missing is reported as missing rather than assumed.
What you get
An editable Summary of Insurance as a native Word document: an important notice, the named insured and insured entities, a program-at-a-glance index of every policy with its carrier, number, term, key limit and premium, one detailed section per coverage line, a roll-up of every item requiring attention with a suggested follow-up, a source register of every document reviewed, and the disclaimer.
How it works
- 1Take in the documents: the uploads are read in full and the policies they actually evidence are identified — coverage line, carrier, policy number and term — so no section rests on a passing mention.
- 2Extract the terms exactly: limits, deductibles, retentions, premiums, scheduled items, endorsements, exclusions and conditions are captured as printed, each with the document and page behind it.
- 3Reconcile: where an endorsement amends a declarations value, the in-force value is carried with the superseded one beside it; where documents simply disagree, both values are shown with both sources.
- 4Flag what needs a human: Missing, Ambiguous and Inconsistent items are flagged where the reader meets them and again in one roll-up list with a suggested follow-up — nothing unstated is assumed.
- 5Organize and deliver: the program index, per-coverage-line sections, attention roll-up and source register are assembled into one editable Word Summary of Insurance.
